I needed a quarter inch router that would easily make three-quarter inch dadoes in MDF and various hardwoods. I am using this with a DeWalt quarter-inch and router and DeWalt track saw adapter. It used to take me about 10 minutes to set up my dado stack and get my tablesaw ready. Even with bad it was hit or miss if I would get a perfectly straight dado because the MDF Peacewood inevitably move a little bit against the tablesaw fence. Now, I am able to set it up and cut a dado inside of five minutes.

I cut about 10 three eights inch deep dadoes with this yesterday, and it was extremely easy and the dadoes were perfectly clean.

If you are looking for a date a replacement I would recommend you also buy a half inch and five eights inch router bit.
