This review is not a fair review as I have only used the bit once, but it perfromed flawless. I own several This router bits and I have full confindence that this will continue to perform with the same quality as my other bits. I wanted to be fair and up front, but with that said the wood that I normally used this bit on was white oak. The cuts were extremely smooth and within .002" of a 1/2". Please note that I was a machinist for years and I can't help but use my precision measuring tools. I do not believe that you will go wrong buying This bits.

I purchased this bit since it was recommended when I was purchasing a Jasper Circle Jig. It had a ton of good reviews and now I see why. It did a perfect job of cutting through marine plastic (access hatches) to make holes for speakers in my boat. It's an excellent bit! Smooth and precise! (Remember to spray your bits with wd-40 or amsoil metal protector etc and seal them in a ziplock or something airtight before putting your router bits away, it'll stop rust and corrosion and keep them sharp!)
