Rail and stile door construction has been around for centuries and is the most common way to build doors for cabinets and furniture. Our rail and stile router bits will enable you to create your own frames for frame-and-panel doors. Cope the ends of your rails with one bit, and then switch to the second bit to route the inside edge profile in all your door parts. Now the center panel can be inserted and the door can be assembled.

Set arrived in what seems like what seems like a sturdy wood box. Upon opening all tips are labeled along with an image of the cut the tip makes. As a person who is new to wood working this is very appreciated. Every where I read I saw that the way to get into wood working was to buy cheap tips, figure out which tips you use the most and when they wear out, buy a more expensive version. These seem to be high quality and extremely sharp and I look forward to using them.

This set cuts smoothly and provides a great joint. Once setup properly they work great. As with everything woodworking it is all about the accurate setup to get good results.
