I have paid $25-$30 for a few individual Freud bits when I got started. Wanted to expand with a set that provided me some options and ability to experiment. I am hoping they're actually better quality in terms of reliability and longevity. Just started using them and they seem to me to be build as well as the Freud. We will see over time
