This ogee handrail router bit features a 1-5/16" cutting height and a 1/4" cutting depth. The overall length is 3-1/4" with a 1/2" shank. This bit can used on stock as small as 2" and the included ball-bearing guide allows you to route curved railings as well.

The guide ball bearing seems very loose and wobbly. It did work well.

I BOUGHT IT AS A GIFT TO TAKE ABROAD, THE "TSA" WON'T ALLOW IT IN MY CARRY ON AS IT HAS "SHARP EDGES" SO I HAD TO CHECK IN MY CARRY ON. IT COULD BE PREVENTED IF IT HAS A WAX OR RUBBERIZED COATING AS THE OLD DAYS OR AT LEAST A KIND OF SEALING COAT.

Have not used them yet

Use this on pine boards it took two passes but the result was great. (Two passes do to the amount of material being removed). The bit was just warm after 8 boards.
