Rail and stile door construction has been around for centuries and is the most common way to build doors for cabinets and furniture. Our rail and stile router bits will enable you to create your own frame-and-panel doors. Cope the ends of your rails with one bit, and then switch to the second bit to route the inside edge profile in all your door parts. The included panel raiser cuts the artistic profile on the center panel which reduces the panel's thickness to properly fit in the door frame's groove.

This 3 bit door making Router bit set includes ogee rail and stile bits and a 2-1/2" ogee panel raiser. Rail and stile bits create a perfectly matched rail and stile door frame. The panel raiser puts a classic edge on the central panel of your door. Ball bearing guides allow you to make precise cuts without the use of a fence. Comes in a solid wood storage case. Use with up to 1" stock. Bit shanks are 1/2".

I just started using these router bits, and they are sharp and cut really well. I can not say too much about durability and longevity, as I have just started using them. They seem to be very well made and I do believe that they will stay sharp for a long time. A joy to use now!

Have used the ball Jose and the flat end mills extensively for relief cutting and have not had any issues. These bits are a good choice for the smaller desktop cnc routers.

Nice little router bit set. Despite what you might see on youtube or read from the experts there is no reason to spend a fortune on router bits unless you are going to be making hundreds of board feet worth of trim or cabinets. Those bits work excellent for the price. When they wear out or the finish starts to peel, chuck'em and replace'em. I use those bits every day for the past two years and I've had to replace the most used 3 or 4. And that was after working on extremely dense hardwoods.
