The Stacked Rail and Stile Router Bit will cut both the profile and cope for rail and stile cabinet doors with a single bit. Simply, cut the profiles with the middle and lower blades and then lower the bit in your table to make the cope cut using the middle and upper blades. No need to switch or reassemble cutters. This bit comes equipped with a radial ball bearing for easy cutting depth setup.

This classical ogee bit can cut stock up to 7/8" and will cut a depth of 3/8". The slots are 1/4" thick and the shank diameter is 1/2".

Great solid bit

This item worked awesome to put a long deep groove around the edge of two cheese boards for finger holds.

This is not really its intended purpose more being for raised panel making.

I took three passes, each increasing depth on black walnut and had zero issues or burning. I turned the bit speed down to between 13000-18000 and it worked amazing. I saw a few reviews with less than stellar results. I can only guess they did not slow the bit down to the proper speed, or they received a lemon. I have made many cuts with ZERO issues to date. I will gladly change the review if I have issues but at this point the price to use ratio has been met. I have purchase similar bits for 3plus times the amount with equal results. So, with that said Price+(times used) = you should purchase.

I would recommend and purchase again.
