Durable and performs as a higher price tool. Very please. Sound tool for week-end craftsman.

Joining 1x4 boards

Works great for cutting grooves in my 3/4” hardwood flooring!

I have only used this cutter to make one box so far, but on first impressions it's great. The cutter head is solid carbide, brazed onto a steel shank. The dovetail has a nice slim profile that matches many hand-cut dovetails I've seen. I did experience a little but of tear out, but I don't think I can blame the bit for that. Will try with a backer board on both sides of the work next time.
