Create extra strong entry and passage doors with the extended tenon entry door router bit set. Aside from the standard rail and stile bits that are included in all entry door sets, this set comes with an additional bit that allows you to create larger tenons and then cope the profile to match the stile. These bits are very large and robust. A sturdy setup is strongly recommended.
This 3 bit ogee entry door router bits set can cut rails and stiles between 1-3/4" and 1-3/8" thick. The cutting depth of these tenon router bits is 1/2" and the shank diameter is 1/2".

I am very happy with this bit set. I have used it on enough pieces of wood for four door panels.

Too undersize for exterior doors.
The specs on the set show 1-3/4" height, just enough for exterior doors. Tha actual set that arrived was 1-9/16" in height. Even shims could only bring the set to 1-5/8" before the carbide teeth barely covered. Fortunately, my project is already super custom and I can get away with it, but standard hardware for exterior doors won't fit a product made with these bits.

I like the 2pcs set already set
I like the 2pcs set already set, all I have to do set the height to the material size. Much better than the old way. Rather than adjusting the cutters for stile or rail. On one set.
