While chamfer bits are mostly used for edging, these bits can also be used to create miter joints of various angles. Other available angle degrees are 11.25, 15, 22.5, 30 & 45. Cutting these angles into 2 adjoining pieces of wood will create miter joints of 22.5, 30, 45, 60 & 90 degrees respectively.

Make 30° chamfer and bevel cuts with this chamfer router bit. This bit can be used with stock up to 15/16" thick. Two flute carbide cutters and 1/4" shank diameter.

Decent product, pictures can be deceiving..

I was excited to get these set up in my table and knock some doors out. I'll admit, I've made only a few sets- but this pair works great. There is a small (and I mean small) amount of material left that can easily be trimmed with a razor knife. The fitment is tight and clean!
