Round over edge forming router bits add a simple yet elegant profile to the edge of furniture and table tops and are a staple for any router bit collection. Round over bits are distinguished by their radius property which also denotes its cutting depth. As with all edge forming router bits, these can be used to create small moldings that can be applied to many projects as well as crown molding build-ups. Purchased for one small job. I’m a tool snob and prefer to buy known high quality. This bit performed flawlessly for the duration of the job which was easing approximately sixty lineal feet of Baltic birch ply. Turned out to be a pleasant surprise and a bargain

Used these to build several shaker cabinet doors. The blades are *very* sharp (sliced my finger first time handling them). My frames are 5/8" MDF. These bits had no problem cutting the material to produce perfect fit tongue and groove joinery. Make sure that you have a router with an adjustable speed setting; large head bits like these need to be used at a slower setting (18,000 rpm) than smaller bits (24,000 rpm). Look for instructions on seller's website (precisionbits). If I were to do it all over again, I'd use true 1/4" MDF panels (better for painting) instead of the plywood, and thus buy the true 1/4" tongue and groove set instead of these. But these do exactly what they claim to do.
