While chamfer bits are mostly used for edging, these bits can also be used to create miter joints of various angles. Other available angle degrees are 11.25, 15, 22.5, 30 & 45. Cutting these angles into 2 adjoining pieces of wood will create miter joints of 22.5, 30, 45, 60 & 90 degrees respectively.
