This bit is specifically designed for milling aluminum. O flute end mills allow for lots of chip clearance which is essential when milling aluminum. Aluminum creates larger chips than most other materials and bits such as O-flute end mills are recommended for proper chip removal.

This O-flute bit has a cutting diameter of 1/8", cutting height of 1/2", overall length 2" and 1/4" shank.

They are very sharp, cut well, and last a long time. I cut mostly pine and a bit will last many hours before becoming dull. I feel they are as good as some more expensive bits and are much better than some of the other Chinese bits.
